RockyFan: Toddler loves.

I have mixed feelings about this bed. Given the price i expected more somehow. The paint scratches too easily for a kids bed. It came very well packaged. One side was very easy to connect while attaching the step part was a bit of a pain tiny screws without pre-drilled holes in a place that is hard to get to. But not too bad overall. The front step feels a little flimsy to me, we ll see how it holds up. The picture shows how an 11 mattress fits in. The rim of the mattress sits 1.5 above the tallest part of the bed. Our toddler will be sleeping about 17 above the floor. We are actually glad that the mattress goes over the sides of the bed less chance of him getting hurt while climbing onto it. Of course there is chance that he may fall but we ll just secure him for the night. Needless to say he loves his new bed
