Customer reviewsUnfortunate accident reveals this product is tough
I recently bought and had installed two of these changing stations in a church setting, and am very happy with this purchase. They are very sturdy, and I have no doubt they will perform as advertised, even holding up to the 200 pound weight limit listed in the product description, because almost immediately after installation there was a very unfortunate accident. Without going into details, a special needs adult fell onto one of the units with their full weight. Thankfully, they were not hurt. It s a testament to the product construction that, even with such an incident, the unit was not ripped from the wall, nor was the base changing table stripped from the hinging mechanicanism. I confess, I expected the worst, thinking it would be totally useless, but not so.
